Radiant
Music glides like clouds
His tiny hands move with grace
Over ivory keys
This post is part of a Five Photos, Five Stories challenge. This is my Day 2 photo, “Painted Sky”, with its accompanying haiku. Here’s my Day 1 Post, “Anxiety”. Thanks to Norah, for nominating me and allowing me to play with words and pictures while I get back on my feet. I nominate Dana Schwartz to take on this fun photo challenge. Will she pick up the gauntlet? If so, it will be a treat. Her writing is beautiful and I’d love to see where she takes this challenge. Will we see some fiction?
The “rules” of the Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge are:
1) Post a photo each day for five consecutive days.
2) Attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or a short paragraph. It’s entirely up to the individual.
3) Nominate another blogger to carry on the challenge. Your nominee is free to accept or decline the invitation. Just have fun.
This looks so fun! Thanks for thinking of me, Sarah. Of course, being very slow in the brain due to lack of sleep not enough caffeine, I had to read the directions about five times, but I think I’ve got the idea now 🙂

Sorry. I cut and pasted the directions. I probably should have looked at them more closely.
I’m excited you are participating. Looking forward to how you interpret this challenge. No matter what you do, I know it will be beautiful.

Yes! I got a chance to use a few of my favorite photos. Did you see the butterfly? I was thrilled to get that one. And this sunset, of course… ❤

Sarah, I love the pic and the words. I would never have thought of music gliding like clouds. What a beautiful image. And I can just see those small hands tinkering across the piano keys making sounds to delight. Thank you for sharing. I’m so pleased this challenge has given you a diversion and us some beautiful images and lovely words to enjoy and ponder upon – a delight for the senses and soothing for the soul. 🙂

This whole post makes me feel lucky. We get sunsets like that often. It’s amazing to watch them. Also, I get to hear my little one play… Those notes just float over me. It’s an indescribable feeling but hope I captured some of it. Soothing is a perfect word. Thank you.
